Introducing POLAND III: The Final Team for the TEAM UP! Europe Rivalry Project

As we approach the grand event of the 46th Nationale-Nederlanden Warsaw Marathon, we are thrilled to announce the final team competing in the TEAM UP! Europe rivalry project—POLAND III. This dynamic duo of elite athletes brings with them impressive records, and we can’t wait to see them compete not only individually but also as part of this exciting team rivalry!

Meet the Athletes:

Dominika Stelmach is a renowned marathon and ultramarathon runner with an extensive list of accomplishments. She’s a world record holder in the 12-hour run and holds several Polish records in distances of 50km, 100km, 6 hours, and 12 hours. Dominika is also the global winner and world record holder for the Wings For Life (68.2 km in 3:57). She’s earned numerous accolades, including being a silver medalist at the World Mountain Running Championships in 2018 and the bronze medalist at the European Championships in the 50km in 2022.

Her marathon successes include being the Polish Champion in the Marathon (Dębno 2017) and in Mountain Running over both short and long distances. A passionate advocate for women’s strength, she continues to strive toward becoming the most versatile runner in Poland. Dominika is not only a fierce competitor but also a personal trainer, PZLA-certified instructor, and a mother of two boys.

Krzysztof Gosiewski is another top Polish long-distance runner, specializing in cross-country. He’s the gold medalist from the Polish Cross-Country Championships in 2014 in the 10-kilometer race. Known for his endurance and determination, Krzysztof will be aiming for both personal and team glory at this year’s Warsaw Marathon.

As we complete the roster of competing teams with POLAND III, the excitement is only building for the 46th Nationale-Nederlanden Warsaw Marathon. Dominika and Krzysztof will represent Poland with pride, and we’re sure their combined strength and experience will make them fierce contenders in the TEAM UP! Europe rivalry.
