These talented athletes not only represent their country with pride but also embody the spirit of determination and excellence that this marathon stands for.
Ewa Jagielska has been training under coach Wojciech Kopeć since mid-2022, and her career has soared during this time. As a dedicated physical education teacher, Ewa expertly balances her professional responsibilities with her passion for competitive running.
Ewa is the current champion of the Warsaw Marathon (2023), where she aims to defend her title and chase a new personal best. Her impressive achievements include being the European Masters Champion in the marathon and earning bronze medals in both the 5000m and 10km events at the World Championships in her age category. Additionally, she is a multiple medalist at the Polish Senior Championships and holds several Polish Masters records in her age group.
With her competitive spirit and commitment to excellence, Ewa is ready to take on the challenge of the Warsaw Marathon once again.
Adrian Przybyła is another remarkable athlete training under coach Wojciech Kopeć. He began his long-distance running journey in 2018 and has quickly made a name for himself in the running community. Adrian holds the Polish record for the marathon with a stroller, completing the distance in an impressive 2:33:59.
In 2023, he made a spectacular debut at the Dębno Marathon, where he achieved his personal best of 2:22:02, winning Poland’s oldest marathon in the process. Beyond his athletic accomplishments, Adrian is a proud father to two wonderful sons, Julian and Janek, and a loving husband to Agnieszka, who also shares his passion for running.
Adrian is deeply committed to healthy living, balanced nutrition, and pushing his limits. His journey reflects his dedication to personal growth and family values, making him a true inspiration.
