Introducing Team Luxembourg: Shirley Kap and Yonas Kinde at the 46th Nationale-Nederlanden Warsaw Marathon
The 46th Nationale-Nederlanden Warsaw Marathon is drawing near, and we are thrilled to introduce Team Luxembourg, featuring two exceptional athletes: Shirley Kap and Yonas Kinde. These two elite runners will not only be competing individually but also as part of the TEAM UP! Europe rivalry project, representing Luxembourg with determination and skill.
Shirley Kap has been steadily making a name for herself in the world of long-distance running. She has participated in numerous international events and is ready to take on the Warsaw Marathon. Her endurance, speed, and dedication make her a formidable competitor. As a representative of Luxembourg, Shirley brings both national pride and her personal best to this prestigious event.
Yonas Kinde is a marathon runner with an impressive record. His personal best of 2:17, set in Frankfurt in 2015, showcases his ability to perform at the highest level. Yonas began his running career, competing in cross-country, 10,000 meters, and half marathons before transitioning to the full marathon. He won several titles in Luxembourg, France, and Germany.
Beyond running, Yonas works as a massage therapist, bringing his knowledge of physical health and recovery into his training. Coached by Yves Göldi, Yonas continues to push his limits, and he is excited to bring his talents to Warsaw for this year’s marathon.
Together, Shirley Kap and Yonas Kinde make a powerful team for Luxembourg in the TEAM UP! Europe rivalry project. Both athletes are dedicated to representing their country at the highest level and are eager to give their best performances in Warsaw.
