Introducing Team Ukraine II for the Warsaw Marathon!
Meet Marina Nemchenko, a passionate long-distance runner from Kharkiv with 13 years in the sport. She’s the Ukrainian Marathon Champion of 2021 and the Ukrainian Champion in the 10,000m in 2024. This year, she’s crushed her half marathon time from 1:13:15 to an impressive 1:11:13, and she’s not stopping there!
And here’s Vitaliy Shafar, an Olympic marathoner who competed in the 2012 London Games, finishing in 29th place. He made waves in the Boston Marathon, finishing 4th in 2014 and 10th in 2015.
Together, they are ready to represent Ukraine and compete fiercely in the TEAM UP! Europe rivalry. Let’s cheer them on!
