TEAM UP! EVERYONE

Rules & Regulations – TEAM UP! Everyone Competition
as part of the 47th Nationale-Nederlanden Warsaw Marathon

1. General Eligibility
The TEAM UP! Everyone competition is open to teams representing sports clubs, companies, institutions, informal groups, or any collective of runners competing under a shared name—excluding elite athletes participating in the 47th Nationale-Nederlanden Warsaw Marathon based on individual agreements with the organizer.

2. Team Composition
A team must consist of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 runners. The overall team score is based on the top 3 individual results.

3. Participant Rules
All team members are bound by the official rules of the 47th Nationale-Nederlanden Warsaw Marathon. Each participant can represent only one team.

4. Team Captain
Each team must have a designated captain who:

  • Registers the team for TEAM UP! Everyone,
  • Decides on the team composition,
  • Acts as the official team representative,
  • Communicates with the marathon organizers.

5. Scoring and Results
The team’s final result is the sum of the three highest-scoring performances by its members. Individual times are converted into point scores based on the World Athletics scoring tables. The team with the highest combined score from its top 3 runners wins.

Example:
Runner 1 – Net Time: 2:12:30 – 1,117 points
Runner 2 – Net Time: 2:13:30 – 1,100 points
Runner 3 – Net Time: 2:32:00 – 1,113 points
Runner 4 – Net Time: 2:33:00 – 1,103 points

Top 3 scores: 1,117 + 1,113 + 1,103 = 3,333 points
Final score of the team = 3,333 points

6. Registration
Only runners with assigned bib numbers can be registered for TEAM UP! Everyone. The final registration deadline is September 10, 2025.

Any bib-holding participant of the 47th Nationale-Nederlanden Warsaw Marathon can act as a team captain. Captains register the team and manage its lineup via their account on the registration platform:

Changes to the team composition can be made until September 10, 2025. After this date, no changes will be allowed.

7. Classification Format
TEAM UP! Everyone is held as an open team classification with no division by gender or age category. However, the organizer reserves the right to create internal sub-classifications if deemed appropriate.

To be officially classified, at least two team members must finish the marathon.

In the case of a tie in total points, the score of the team’s fourth runner will serve as the tiebreaker. If the tie remains, teams will share the same final ranking position.

8. Awards
The top three teams in the TEAM UP! Everyone classification will receive trophies.
The top five teams will be awarded cash prizes:

  • 1st place – 9,000 PLN (nine thousand zloty)
  • 2nd place – 6,000 PLN (six thousand zloty)
  • 3rd place – 4,500 PLN (four thousand five hundred zloty)
  • 4th place – 3,000 PLN (three thousand zloty)
  • 5th place – 1,500 PLN (one thousand five hundred zloty)

Total prize pool: 24,000 PLN (twenty-four thousand zloty)
All amounts are gross and subject to applicable tax regulations.

9. Participation Benefits
All team competition participants who finish the 47th Nationale-Nederlanden Warsaw Marathon will receive the same medals and race benefits as individually registered runners.

10. Final Provisions
The binding and final interpretation of these regulations rests solely with the organizer of the 47th Warsaw Marathon. Any matters not covered by this document will be resolved at the organizer’s discretion.
